Manfred Moelgg is ready to face the adventure of the Maratona dles Dolomites, now in its 33rd edition.
Among the thousands of starters who will meet at La Villa at dawn, just a stone's throw from the Gran Risa which is his home track, will be the veteran of the Italian skiing again. Back from the athletic retreat in that of Formia, which will end on Saturday, Moelgg confessed to the communication office of the Granfondo most awaited of the year, he who travels thousands of km every summer also as preparation for the winter season, as well as for his enormous passion for cycling.
"The slalom lasts 50 seconds, the bike rides so many hours in which you have time to think about a thousand things, how to fight the mountain and at the same time enjoy yourself - the words of Manfred - I always have a great desire to struggle, I am back from injuries and I think that all this is part of a cycle that, in any case, will continue even after my skiing career has ended. What do I see in my future? Certainly the family is still a lot of sport, even if it's not yet time to think about it in detail. I would like to work on various projects related to my territory that I love â€.
