Matthias Mayer has decided to marry his Claudia, just after the lockdown period and in time to ... precede his 30th birthday.
The Carinthian champion, in fact, had spoken for some time of his desire to join the historic partner in marriage before this anniversary, which will fall on Tuesday (Mayer was born on June 9, 1990 in Sankt Veit an der Glan). Yet, the announcement posted today via social media has surprised many, to formalize a wedding in private form that comes after a great season by the Wunderteam ace, capable of returning to winning the World Cup in the super-g of Lake Louise and to insert three more successes between the combined Wengen, the descent of Kvitfjell and, in the middle, above all the legendary descent of Kitzbuehel, for his first time in the most awaited race of the year on the Streif.
