For Kilde, physical preparation is already at the top: new records with weights, soon the return to the snow

A little more than 5 months after the crash to the crusader, the winner of the 2020 cup says he is ready to start again "even stronger physically".

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is already well, very well. Last January 16, when he was in full battle for an encore in the overall World Cup standings, the crusader injury to his right knee had closed his season early, but towards the one that will lead to the Beijing Olympics it seems that the Norwegian ace will not have to start with a handicap as often happens to those who find themselves having to recover from such a problem. As he himself explained to "VG", AAK feels "even stronger physically, without compromising any kind of technical work". In practice, Kilde opted with technicians and trainers to increase her muscle mass by about 4 kg, already signing a personal best with 140 kg raised in the bench press test. The return to the snow is expected shortly, perhaps as early as July, with the viewfinder clearly on the Soelden opening.
