Finally there is a date, after the postponement of the usual summer conference with media from around the world, initially scheduled for last August 6th.
Marcel Hirscher will announce a decision on his sporting future on Wednesday 4 September, at a conference "revealed" by the president of the Austrian federation, Peter Schroecksnadel.
The number 1 of the OESV has indeed confirmed to "Heute" the day chosen for the announcement; there are those who say that the farewell is closer, who the opposite, but at this point all that remains is to wait for communication from the person concerned, after the many speculations of the last few days following a social message by Ted Ligety , which somehow assumed a withdrawal of his (former) great rival.
