Saalbach remains in pole position to host downhill and jumped super-g in China. In the coming season, both women and men will compete in Yanqing.

Already today, which will see the representatives of the men's World Cup in the captains meeting in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (on the eve of the first test of the descent on the Kandahar), the announcement could arrive on the venue that will host the recoveries of the fast races canceled in Yanqing for the Coronavirus case.
He remains in pole position to stage the descent and super-g initially scheduled in China on 15-16 February, the town of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, but there is no shortage of candidates starting from one of the two rivals (the other is Garmisch) of the Austrian ski area to host the 2025 world championships, or Crans-Montana which already has the appointment for the women's World Cup in the following weekend, or 22-23 February with alpine descent and combined in the Canton of Valais .
We will know more in the next few hours, in the meantime it is practically certain that the pre-Olympic races scheduled for women in the 2020/21 season, expected in Yanqing for descent and super-g on 6-7 March 2021, will add two quick tests to the male sector, recalibrating a calendar already defined in long-term drafts.
