Spring trainings that continue for many national teams and among these, there is also the French speed one that can make the most of the Courchevel facilities.
In the Haute-Savoie station, snow and low temperatures are not lacking so much that, after the individual work done by Alexis Pinturault in recent days, Xavier Fournier's downhill team concluded the 2020/21 season first by training on the Stade Emile- Allais, the track for technical disciplines that hosts the World Cup, then at high altitude with a work on speed thanks to a 45-second track obtained by the transalpine technicians.
Yannick Bertrand, the former downhill skier who has been working in the French staff for years, explained what he has done in these days, with the last session of the season staged yesterday, to his colleagues at Ski Chrono. “We found excellent conditions and the guys (all present, with the exception of Bailet who has already detached and obviously the injured Roger, Muzaton and Giraud-Moine) were able to test material. With seven 45 ”laps, we put together a good job. We will resume in May ".
Program still to be determined in detail, but the break will be really short ...
