Australia closes to summer skiing, at least until late August. In the country, the Coronavirus danger is still real and it has been decided not to reopen the ski resorts of the state of Victoria, namely Falls Creek and Mount Hotham, where various races of the Australian New Zealand Cup circuit have been held for years.
The situation in New Zealand is different, with Alice Robinson on the track at Coronet Peak since the end of June, even if now the choice of many World Cup level athletes, usually traveling to the southern hemisphere, has been that of avoid the risks of this trip, from Petra Vlhova to the Austrian national team of technical disciplines.
In Victoria, where entry is prohibited, skiing activities will not resume until at least August 19th, while the Mount Buller area is open, clearly only to local skiers.
