From Kastlunger to Bendotti, Italy very young for the next European Cup slalom in France

Devid Salvadori's choices for the appointment on Wednesday and Thursday on the snow of Val Cenis. The girls are preparing the slalom in Champoluc that will be held over the weekend in Vaujany.

It will be a very young Italy, the one that will present itself at the two days of the European Cup scheduled in Val Cenis, with the third and fourth men's slalom (after the one-two in Pozza di Fassa) of the continental circuit to be held on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 on the French snow. Nine blue players called up by the youth technical director Massimo Carca and led by Devid Salvadori: it is Tobias Kastlunger, who returns to the European Cup to aim high, after his double debut in the World Cup, of young people who did very well in the first FIS seasonal, in particular Matteo Bendotti and Tommaso Saccardi, as well as Pietro Canzio, Alessandro Pizio, Hans Vaccari, Riccardo Allegrini, Giovanni Zazzaro and Matteo Canins. The girls, on the other hand, will compete, always between the tight posts, on the weekend of 9-10 January in Vaujany: to work towards the French trip, the group led by Damiano Scolari (with the support of Ruggero Muzzarelli and Cesare Prati) will train at Champoluc, in the Aosta Valley, today and tomorrow with Petra Unterholzner, Vera Tschurtschenthaler, Serena Viviani, Anita Gulli, Celina Haller, Roberta Midali and Carlotta Saracco on the track. The gigantists Ilaria Ghisalberti and Asja Zenere have instead been called up for the training in Dobbiaco, scheduled from 6 to 10 January with the technicians Angelo Weiss and Andrea Gabella.
