The FISI reviews the criteria for training and competitions: ok to the Masters, the youngest stop

After the last DPCM, the Federation has once again defined the "athletes of national interest". Chicks and children are not included.

The FISI had to review, providing CONI with the calendars of events and competitions of "national interest", the parameters regarding the continuation of the activity, as regards training and competitions, at least until next December 3. In practice, the youngest of the chicks and children categories will not be able to ski, with the ok arrived instead for aspirants, juniors, seniors and masters. For cross-country skiing, an activity that continues from aspirants to masters, as well as for aspirants, juniors and seniors in the snowboard scene and, essentially, also for all other disciplines under the FISI aegis. "In relation to the provisions of art. 1 paragraph 9, letter oo) which establishes that the lifts in the ski areas are closed and that they can only be used by professional and non-professional athletes - reads the federal note - recognized of national interest by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI ), by the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) and / or by the respective federations to allow the preparation aimed at carrying out national and international sports competitions or the carrying out of such competitions, the Federation, today, shared with CONI the identification of the categories and age groups - divided by the various federal disciplines - to be understood under the definition of "athletes of national interest".
