A four-day competition that was supposed to open the Italian calendar, but there was nothing to do.

Solda and the Ski Club Livata organizer of the event, had to surrender to the snow that fell copiously (at least 30-40 cm in the night). The FIS program which included two slalom and two giants, both at male and female level, from today until Friday 15, has completely skipped, except for junior competitions.
The men's slalom saw only the athletes of the first group go down, then it was decided to send everyone back home, as safety was not guaranteed; no trials valid even for the GP Italia Senior, therefore, with the Italian teams that were already working in Solda for a few days, forced into the pits, by the C boys and the juniors.
A real shame, for the first appointment of the season that would have served the technicians as well to define the young people to bring to the European Cup.
