The last farewell to the legendary technical director of the Valanga Azzurra, who died last Tuesday at the age of 76.

Sondrio tightened around the family of Mario Cotelli for the funeral staged at the "Collegiate", which struggled to contain the many people who came for the farewell moved to a myth of Italian skiing.
As reported by the "Giornale di Sondrio", many of its former athletes and in general of the blue protagonists of those years could not miss; in the front row Gustavo Thoeni and Tino Pietrogiovanna, but also Stefano Anzi, Renato Antonioli, Pietro Vitalini, Claudia Giordani and Daniela Zini. Giuseppe Compagnoni, father of Deborah, was also present at the funeral, as well as various exponents of tourism and the local economy, including the former leaders of Credito Valtellinese, the bank of which Cotelli was administrator for over thirty years.
So much emotion when Chicco Cotelli greeted his brother performing two songs on the keyboard, accompanied by a flautist, dedicating to the father of the Valanga Azzurra “Il Signore delle Cimeâ€.
