Italy and in particular the Val di Fassa will be at the center of a European Cup which, for over a week, will see Italy as the protagonist of a continental circuit which, in the men's sector and after the first four technical races played, sees Tommaso Sala in command of the general classification.
There will also be Brianza, albeit the previous day engaged in the World Cup on the snows of Val d''Isere, for the classic slalom on the “Aloch†of Pozza di Fassa, scheduled for Monday 16 December; previously, the women will have played the two giants of Andalo (14-15 December), while the Obereggen slalom will be staged on Wednesday 18, to then close with the expected parallel slalom at night at Kronplatz, Saturday 21 December (at few hours from the giant of the World Cup in Alta Badia).
As for the Val di Fassa, the program also includes the women's European Cup fast races, on the splendid "La Volata" of Passo San Pellegrino: appointment set for 19-20 December.
There are many big expectations for the slalom on the "Aloch", with the Ski Team Fassa at the great job to repeat the success of the junior world championships last February; Monday 16 will compete at 14.30 for the 1st round and at 6.15 pm for the decisive run, broadcast live on Raisport.
