A little over a year and a half after hosting the 2015, Gong is already thinking about reapply to organize the World Cup in Nordic skiing. The said Carl-Johan Ingeström, director of Beyond Skiing, association dedicated to the promotion of sport in the county of Dalarna, controlled by the Swedish Football Association.

"The ability of an application will be analyzed over the winter," explained Ingeström, who commissioned the study Sven von Holst, former head of the organizing committee of the World Championships in 2015.
Ingeström did not specify to which edition you are aiming for, but the first available date would be 2025. The distance from the last World in the Swedish town would be just a decade, but already the Val di Fiemme has got two such similar range reviews. According to the director, the same FIS would encourage practitioners to revive his candidacy.
The same location may also be involved in a possible Stockholm Olympic bid for 2026. "We at Beyond Skiing believe that if Stockholm harbored the Games, we would have a good chance to bring the races in Falun," he said in this regard Ingeström , stating that the 'opportunity of a candidate will depend upon the economic environment.
