An edition of the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival of the highest level, with many cross-country skiers and biathletes protagonists of next winter, and two blue stars protagonists in the podium area.
It was conquered by Dorothea Wierer, who finished third in the women's mass start of the great Annecy event; the standing shot saw the two-time winner of the CdM run into 4 errors, three remedied by reloads, which forced her to a stop & go penalty. Instead, two reloads used by the winner Marketa Davidova (4 in total), triumphant in front of the Ukrainian Darya Blashko, 10 "5 behind, with the blue at 19" 8 ahead of the transalpine Chloe Chevalier (1 + 6 at the shooting range such as "Doro").
Ninth place for Federica Sanfilippo (3 + 7) who, after a convincing first part of the match, ran into too many mistakes in the two standing shooting sessions.
Havard Taugboel won the men's test of the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival: on the final straight, the Norwegian found the opportunity to burn the Frenchman Jules Chappaz. His national team mate Renaud Jay also crossed the finish line arm in arm, with the Czech Michal Novak in fourth place followed by Federico Pellegrino, a good fifth.
