In Friuli Venezia Giulia the start of the season: excellent signals from the big blues already thinking about the first World Cup races.

Elisa Sordello and Emanuele Becchis. They are the winners of the first race of the 2022 Italian Cup of roller skis, with the event organized in Sgonico, thanks to the work of the ASD Mladina of president Peter Sedmak, with the double mass start in skating.
The men's test saw the top ten competitors enclosed in less than 5 seconds, with Becchis (Alpi Marittime) placing his classic sprint to beat Matteo Tanel (Team Robinson) and Michele Valerio (Carisolo). Fourth place for Jacopo Giardina (Valdobbiadene), Tommaso Dellagiacoma (Sottozero) closes the top five.
Alpi Marittime on the first step of the podium also for women thanks to Elisa Sordello, with the junior Anna Maria Ghiddi (Olimpic Lama) who closes behind the Piedmontese with a gap of 3 ”7. On the third step of the podium the Friulian Ilenia Casali (Edelweiss) at 5 ”8. Lisa Bolzan (Orsago) and Elisa Rossato (Carisolo) finish in fourth and fifth position respectively.
