The news, reported by "VG", causes the World Cup stage scheduled for 12-14 February to be canceled, but all subsequent events, from biathlon to alpine skiing in Kvitfjell, are also at risk.

The umpteenth problem linked to the winter disciplines season, with the restrictions of the Norwegian government, frightened by the arrival in the country (in particular in Oslo and surroundings) of the English variant of Covid. The stage of the Women's Jumping World Cup (which so far has only had a couple of appointments between postponements and cancellations) and Nordic combined, scheduled from 12, is substantially canceled, even if there is no official status by the FIS to February 14 in Lillehammer. As reported by "VG", Prime Minister Erna Solberg has formalized the mandatory quarantine also for foreign athletes who arrive in Norway, for a rule that will be valid from January 29th to February 12th. News that comes after the announcement of the "recovery" of the cross-country skiing World Cup finals in Lillehammer, from 19 to 21 March, and with a thousand unknowns related to the last month of the season for the various disciplines . The same biathlon and alpine skiing competitions (men engaged in speed in Kvitfjell, at the beginning of March) are concretely at risk with this government decision.
