Missing three weeks tains all of the female jumping World Cup, but for obvious logistical reasons, the Japanese federation has already chosen the athletes who will take part in the pre-Christmas racing.

The most interesting fact about the summons is that Lillehammer and Nizhny Tagil, the Japanese movement will leave vacant two numbers. The selected, in fact, they are only four:
ITO Yuki (1994) Kaori Iwabuchi (1993) SETO Yuka (1997) Sara Takanashi (1996)
The quartet consists of the women have proved far more competitive both during the Summer Grand Prix, and in the recent national championships in Hakuba.
Evidently, not recognizing an adequate technical level to the World Cup among the other athletes of the movement, the coaching staff chose not to make full use of the quota available.
Few but good, because Sara Takanashi is the widely favored to win the crystal ball and can guarantee victories by the bagful. The same Yuki Ito and Yuka Seto are also serious candidates for the podium in every competition.
