From Villach there is a bad news for the Slovenian ski jumping team. In fact, during one of the very first training sessions, Jaka Hvala was severely injured, seeing his Olympic vintage already compromised.

"It was a horrible day for me yesterday," he wrote on Facebook - "I was jumping right and I was having fun. Just on the last jump I came out very well from the tooth and I was immediately clear that I would have gone very long Just before the landing I realized I was still tall and just touched earth I realized something was wrong with my left knee.
Medical examinations have resulted in anterior crest ligament injury with meniscus involvement. I will have to work and stay away from the trampolines for at least 6 months. Probably my season is over and the next few weeks will not be easy. But life is done so and this experience will make me stronger. "
So there is no peace for this athlete, able to win in the World Cup in February 2013, but then lost on the road due to various problems, not least this serious injury.
