Sapporo fiefdom of Stefan Kraft: victory and yellow bib for the Austrian

With a victory and a second place Kraft has collected 180 points in Japan, bypassing the German Karl Geiger in the general classification.

In Race 1 the victory went to the Japanese Yukiya Sato, the second sharp of the season after the one at the beginning of December in Nizhny-Tagil. The Japanese, sixth in the middle of the race, in the second jump went beyond the HS point and reassembled up to the first position. Place of honor, the seventh of the season, for Stefan Kraft, detached by more than 10 points from the leader, but capable of leaving Dawid Kubacki 3rd behind. Karl Geiger finished 11th instead, in difficulty in the second series, as well as Ryoyu Kobayashi, first after the first jump and 15th at the end. Sunday, in Race 2, there was instead the personal show of Stefan Kraft, who with two 139m jumps trimmed over 20 points behind the first of the opponents, winning the second seasonal success. Good performance by Stephan Leyhe, able to recover from 8th to 2nd place with a 142m jump, while the owner Ryoyu Kobayashi, who preceded Peter Prevc 4th, Karl Geiger, had to settle for the lowest step of the podium 5th and Dawid Kubacki 6th. With 180 points collected in Sapporo Stefan Kraft jumped to the command of the general classification of the World Cup 63 points margin on Karl Geiger. Dawid Kubacki (-139) and Ryoyu Kobayashi (-156) are more detached.
