Valentina Margaglio leads the blue team in a week of training on the track that will host the CdM race on December 31st. Seven bobsleigh specialists have been called up.

The sixth seasonal round of the Skeleton World Cup will take place in the Latvian gut of Sigulda, with the penultimate stage then set in Germany, in Winterberg on 7 January, to end in St. Moritz on 14 January before the approach to the great olympic appointment. The sixth round of the World Cup for the blue bobsleigh team is also approaching, again in Sigulda, with the races scheduled for Saturday 1 January and Sunday 2 January 2022. There are seven, on the recommendation of the sporting director Maurizio Oioli, the blue athletes on the track: Patrick Baumgartner, Robert Mircea, Giada Andreutti, Mattia Variola, Tania Vicenzino, Eric Fantazzini and Lorenzo Bilotti. The athletes will be followed by the pool of federal technicians made up of Manuel Machata, Simone Bertazzo and Giovanni Mulassano.
