For this charge, the six times Olympic medalist (two golds, one silver and three bronzes) has clearly beaten the Canadian Walter Cory to the ballot. Instead, he was re-elected president for the seventh time Josef Fendt.
Zöggeler retired in 2014 with a six-time world title and ten World Cups in addition to the six Olympic medals. From 2016 he is the technical director of the Italian team.
