After the celebration for the historic anniversary of the Federation, the legendary blue tobogganist received special recognition.

Armin Zoeggeler, the only athlete to have managed to win six Olympic medals in six different editions of the Games, received today, from the hands of President Flavio Roda, the official recognition prepared for the 100th anniversary of the FISI and dedicated to the greatest champions of all time in winter sports.
Unfortunately, due to the known problems related to the pandemic, the recognition came with a little delay to the great South Tyrolean champion, but it was nevertheless appreciated. President Roda complimented Armin on his legendary career and current role as technical director of the sled teams, which he has taken to ever higher levels in recent seasons.
