Finally, the preparation of the blue phenomena of sledding on a natural track begins.
The Italian national team, simply dominant for years in the discipline, will face the first seasonal meeting from Tuesday 21 July, with a series of athletic tests in Lana; technical director Armin Zoeggeler has called up Daniel Gruber, Stefan Federer, Matthias Lambacher, Patrick Pigneter, Alex Gruber, Maximilian Graeber, Daniela Mittermair, Nadine Staffler, Greta Pinggera and Lea Stangl, accompanied by coach Karl Damian and athletic trainer Mattias Schnitzer.
The next World Cup season will kick off from 18 to 20 December in Kuehtai, Austria, before six overall stages, with the World Championships scheduled for 4 to 7 February 2021; Italy holds the World Cup doubles with Pigneter / Clara and women's singles with Evelyn Lanthaler.
