Tobogganing rounds off a magical weekend: another success for Dominik Fischnaller!

An unforgettable stage of the World Cup in Park City for the Azzurri: after the victory in the classic format, the sprint race sees the Olympic bronze medalist triumph and become leader of the general classification. A close second also for Voetter/Oberhofer, second in the women's doubles.

On a simply unforgettable day for the Azzurri of the winter disciplines, the national luge team led by Armin Zoeggeler completes a fairytale picture, capable of bringing home another double podium in the World Cup, in the sprint races that closed the program of the two days of Park City. After having already won 24 hours earlier in the classic format, Dominik Fischnaller gave himself success number 9 in the top circuit, for his first career double in the same stage; beaten in the men's single David Gleirscher and Felix Loch, in reversed positions behind the Olympic bronze medalist, for the same podium in Friday's race. And with Wolfgang Kindl's 14th place, the blue also leaps to the top of the general classification of the cup, while Leon Felderer gives himself the best result of his career with an applause 5th place.
