National tobogganing in Igls: three days of training in Austria for the World Cup group

One month after the start of the 2022/23 season in the same gut of Innsbruck, the Azzurri are towards the finalization of the long preparation work.

The technical director of the Italian national luge on artificial slope, Armin Zoeggeler, has summoned the men's and women's groups of the World Cup for a three-day training session on the Igls slope that will host the weekend of 3-4 December opening of the World Cup. There are 15 Italian specialists working on the Austrian gut (like many colleagues of the various national teams involved in this training week) until Friday 4 November, with Kevin Fischnaller, Simon Kainzwaldner, Ivan Nagler, Leon Felderer, Emanuel Rieder, Leon Felderer, Ludwig Rieder, Lukas Gufler, Fabian Malleier and Patrick Rastner for the men's team, while the women's quintet is made up of Nina Zoeggeler, Marion Oberhofer, Sandra Robatscher, Verena Hofer and Andrea Voetter. The technical staff accompanying the athletes is led by the director Zoeggeler himself, assisted by Kurt Brugger, Oswald Haselrieder, Julia Hauser and Juris Sics.
