It will not be so, given that the discipline will not become part of the five-man program circles for the edition of the Italian Games.
And the federal president Flavio Roda, once confirmed that there will be nothing to do, released a clear statement on the matter through the FISI press office: "The disappointment today is great, because we learned, albeit informally , that the International Tobogganing Federation (FIL) has not even made a request to the IOC to let sledding on a natural track become part of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic program.
There is a correspondence between FISI and FIL, in which the common will of the two Federations in carrying out the shared project is expressed, but obviously for FIL this is no longer the case - continued Roda - The FISI had also sensitized the Coni in support of 'entry of the toboggan on a natural track among the Olympic disciplines ”.
