The 2019/2020 World Cup kicks off next weekend: heavy absence for Italy without South Tyrol.

The artificial sled season will officially start at Igls, with the Nations Cup scheduled for Friday, November 22 as the starter of the tests on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 in the Austrian gut.
Leading the blue troops will be Dominik Fischnaller, 5th in the Cup general last season and second in the opening of Igls (where he won in 2015); together with the 26-year-old carabiniere from Alto Adige, the coach Armin Zoeggeler (winner of the single of this stage three times, in 2006, 2007 and 2009, ed) has called Patrick Rastner, Fabian Malleier, Ludwig Rieder, Ivan Nagler, Kevin Fischnaller, Lukas and Alex Gufler, Leon Felderer, Andrea Voetter, Marion Oberhofer, Verena Hofer, Katharina Putzer, Nina Zoeggeler and Nadia Falkensteiner.
The absence of Sandra Robatscher, winner of the historic and crazy race of Altenberg of last February 3, stands out: the 23-year-old South Tyrolean woman was recently operated on the right shoulder and will miss this first stage at least, waiting to understand the recovery times.
The Igls weekend program includes the Nations Cup on Friday to complete the picture of weekend race participants: Saturday 23 (10.20 and 11.45) the two runs of the women's single, followed by the men's double (13.10 and 14.30) , Sunday the conclusion with the single men (1 ^ run at 10, the second at 11.40) and the team relay, with a start set at 1.45pm.
