Tobogganing on a natural track, the blue squadron "discovers" a season with six cup stages

FIL has announced the calendar of the World Cup 2022/23: double appointment in Italy in January between Val di Giovo and Nova Ponente, the world championship in Vatra Dornei (Romania).

The International Luge Federation has formalized the calendar for the 2022/23 season of a luge World Cup on a natural track that will certainly see the blue squadron, dominant also in the last year, once again a great protagonist. The first round of the cup is set from 15 to 18 December in Winterleiten, Austria. The second stage will take place at the beginning of January, on the weekend of 6-8 of the month, in a venue that will be announced in the next few days; from there the cup will pass through the Italian tracks, with the double appointment of Jaufental / Val di Giovo (13-15) and Deutschnofen / Nova Ponente (27-29). February will begin with the fifth stage of the maximum circuit in Vatra Dornei (8-9 February), and the world championships will be staged in the same location in Romania, in the three days of 10-12 February. Then we will proceed forward to the final act of the World Cup, in Umhausen (Austria) from 17 to 19 February to decree the winners of the season.
