The season will kick off on November 25th from the Austrian gut of Innsbruck. The North American trip is back, as in bobsleigh and skeleton, with two stages in the program. At the end of January 2023 the most anticipated seasonal event: the World Championship in Oberhof.

FIL has announced the 2022/2023 Luge World Cup calendar. The season will count nine stages, in eight different locations, plus the world championship weekend in Oberhof.
The "baptism of fire" will take place in Austria, on the Innsbruck route, on 25 November. The following week the Tyrolean location will host yet another stage of the World Cup, after which the maximum sledding circuit will fly to North America, where the stages of Whistler, Canada, and Park City, in the United States. The Canadian leg will start on 8 December 2022, while the American one on 15 December 2022; for the Luge World Cup it is a return to North America, after two years of forced stop due to the pandemic.
The first appointment of 2023 will be on the Latvian gut of Sigulda, from 6 to 8 January; the following week the CdM will appear in Norway, precisely in Lillehammer. From 27 to 29 January the Oberhof world championship will be staged, on a historical track for this discipline. After the World Championship we will always remain in Germany, for the stages of Altenberg and Winterberg, with Koenigssee still out due to the damage caused by bad weather, dating back to last summer.
The 2022/2023 season will end with the Swiss leg of St. Moritz, on the Engadine track on 19 February 2023 the Luge World Cup will end.
