The fourth meeting of the senior speed skating team takes place in Livigno

Azzurri at work in the Valtellina area until 9 September, between athletics training and tests on the short track in Bormio.

After a break in August, the summer training course of the Italian long-track national team has restarted from Livigno. The seniors of sports director Maurizio Marchetto and sprint coach Matteo Anesi then resume in Valtellina, after having laid important foundations in Inzell, Germany, during the month of July. All in gathering until 9 September to approach a season where some uncertainty still reigns. In Livigno there will be an offshore stage with the last “dry” meeting before concentrating, from September, on specific work on ice. These days, therefore, a lot of cycling, training on the athletics track, gym, jumps, roller skates and, for sprinters, even some short track sessions in the federal center of Bormio. Nine athletes called, the same ones present since the first meeting in Senigallia with the exception of Davide Ghiotto, out due to injury: Francesco Betti (Fiamme Oro), David Bosa (Fiamme Oro), Andrea Giovannini (Fiamme Gialle), Michele Malfatti (Sporting Club Pergine), Mirko Giacomo Nenzi (Fiamme Gialle), Jeffrey Rosanelli (Sporting Club Pergine), Enrico Salino (Fisio Pro Team), Alessio Trentini (Sprinters Ghiaccio Pergine) and Nicola Tumolero (Fiamme Oro).
