The continental review in Holland ended, with the Roman protagonist in the mass (silver) after the bronze conquered on 3000 meters.

Excellent European Championships, also considering the absence of Nicola Tumolero, for the Italy of speed skating which brought home two medals from Heerenveen thanks to the exploits of Francesca Lollobrigida.
In the continental event staged on Dutch ice, the Roman was the absolute protagonist taking the silver in "her" mass start, after the bronze of the previous day in the 3000 meters. As the reigning champion after the triumph of two years earlier in Kolomna, the Air Force star was beaten only by the hostess Schouten, in a test that saw the other blue Noemi Bonazza (Fiamme Oro) close with a great 5th place. "I am very happy with this silver - Lollobrigida's words - Holland has studied an excellent strategy, I tried to mark Schouten, but at the moment it is faster than me ... even if I am getting closer" .
In the final races of the final day, another 4th place arrived for Andrea Giovannini, at the foot of the podium also in the mass after having obtained the same placement in the season in the cup stages in Poland and Japan. Good performance also for Michele Malfatti, sixth, while the male Pursuit Team with the same Giovannini and Malfatti together with Francesco Betti, had to settle for fourth place in this case too.
The European Blue ended with two medals, two fourth places and two other top five, for a balance that confirms the quality of the movement.
