The third stage of the Speed skating World Cup saw Italy take the first seasonal success.
The triumph on the ice of Nur-Sultan, in Kazakhstan, bears the signature of the male Pursuit Team; after the 5th place in Poland, Maurizio Marchetto's boys placed the coup in the team test where the blue potential is very important. The trio formed by Andrea Giovannini, Nicola Tumolero and Michele Malfatti got the better of Canada, delayed by 1 "34, and on Russia third in almost 2 seconds, for a victory that also means Italy leading the specialty rankings ahead of the ''Holland.
The Kazakh weekend, however, also signaled the excellent sixth place of Davide Ghiotto in the 10,000 meters division A, while in the division B the Tumolero's success arrived in front of Giovannini, with Malfatti eighth.
Noemi Bonazza also did well, in the top ten on the 1500 meters division A with the tenth place, while in the 5000 division B, the thirty ended sixth, with the personal best on the distance in 7'13 "360. Sixth place also for Mirko Giacomo Nenzi in the 500 division B.
