After the first halfpipe snowboarders were played today in Copper Mountain, Colorado, the final stages of the first two of the halfpipe freestyle World Cup, one male and one female.

Both races were won by France. Among women in the final eight triumphed veteran Marie Martinod, Olympic silver in Sochi and at 4 victories in the Cup but it should be noted that the previous three successes date back to the 2003-2004 season! Second and third the two US Annalisa Drew and Devin Logan.
Even among men triumphs a noble name, namely Kevin Rolland, Olympic and World Championship bronze in Sochi in 2009, now up to 6 wins in the World Cup, have beaten the compatriot Benoit Valentin and the American Aaron Blunck. No Italian athlete has participated in these two races, the next two halfpipe World Cup will be played on February 3 Always in the US but in California, Mammoth Mountain.
