Jole Galli qualifies for the quarterfinals in Reiteralm, out of the blue quartet of the men's sector

In Austria the penultimate stage of the Ski Cross World Cup: Livigno is doing well, even if Sunday will have suffered a very hard battery. Nothing to do for Deromedis, Zuech, Gunsch and Tomasoni.

Reiteralm hosted the first act today, or the qualification that will lead to Sunday's race on the Austrian snow, for a CdM appointment that will see only one blue standard bearer at the final stage scheduled in two days (from 10.30). Jole Galli, the only female representative of the national ski cross team for this stage, given the injury of Lucrezia Fantelli at the Olympics, has centered the 12th time thus accessing the quarter-finals, where she will face very tough opponents as the Livignasca will have in drums the dominatrix of the season, Sandra Naeslund, the German Daniela Maier and the Austrian Katrin Ofner. The best time of the day was signed by the Olympic silver medalist Marielle Thompson, ahead of the other Canadian Brittany Phelan. North Americans also in front in the qualification for the men's race, with Leman's best time on Mahler, while the four Italians, all eliminated, went decidedly badly. Only 36th Simone Deromedis, just ahead of Dominik Zuech (38th), Yannick Gunsch (40th) and Federico Tomasoni (47th).
