Today the qualification for the freeski slopestyle race (scheduled for Saturday), with the Val Gardena who just a few hours ago announced her retirement from competition after this last outing. "They have been 10 incredible years, full of adventures, successes, people, travels, beautiful emotions and as you well know there have been more difficult moments, injuries and some frustrations that I have learned to deal with - Silvia's words - In reality the desire to skiing is still strong, I feel I can still give a lot to this sport, but my body no longer allows me to ski 100% as I would like to do, and therefore the time has come to leave the scene to the new generations ".
On Friday, however, it will be the turn of the slopestyle snowboard specialists with three Italian athletes, Emma Gennero, Emiliano Lauzi and Loris Framarin.
