Freeski slopestyle world championships, Azzurri out with Bertagna, Welponer and Donaggio who do not pass the qualifications

The Aspen world championship is bitter for the three standard bearers of the national team: on Saturday the finals starting at 17.30 Italian.

The three blues present in the freeski slopestyle competition of the Aspen world championships were eliminated in the qualifications. There were twelve places up for grabs between the two heats: Ralph Welponer did not go beyond the twenty-first place with 80.0 points as the best result, while Leonardo Donaggio was placed 39th with 42.00. The best overall score of the day was achieved by the American Alexander Hall with 92.25 ahead of the British James Woods with 91.25 and the Swiss Andri Ragettli with 91.00. In the women's field there were eight places up for grabs, Silvia Bertagna finished sixteenth with 37.16, therefore missing the pass for the finals. Best score for the Chinese Ailing Eileen Gu with 84.51, ahead of the American Marin Hamill with 75.78 and the Swiss Mathilde Gremaud with 75.50. The finals for the medals will be played on Saturday, starting at 17.30 Italian.
