Shaun White announced during a press conference on his lump sum for the slopestyle specialties that will make its debut in the Olympic program in Sochi. The champion American has in fact preferred to focus on'' half pipe, with the goal of'' bringing home the third consecutive Olympic gold after those of Turin and Vancouver.
"The Flying Tomato" had received a few days ago a wrist injury during a workout and considered too dangerous the path of'' Extreme Park Rosa Khutor.
The slopestyle will officially open the 2014 Sochi Olympic program Thursday, February 6th with qualifying male, scheduled for 07.00 Italian time (10:00 Sochi), while the half pipe'' is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18.
