Lucrezia Fantelli's return to the top circuit was good, ten months after Idre Fjaell's injury: the talented Italian finished 12th, eliminated in the quarter-finals, while Jole Galli had not passed the morning cut, stopping at 26th place. Among the men the awaited double from the hosts arrived, but with surprise in the transalpine formation: triumphs Terence Tchiknavorian, able to beat Bastien Midol and the German Wilmsmann, in a test that saw Simone Deromedis take a good tenth position, eliminated in the quarter-finals equal to Edoardo Zorzi, who took home the 13th place.
