The Olympic champion, engaged in Milan for a photo shoot, continues the preparation by crossing her fingers for the Games in Italy

The count-down is coming to an end and Sofia Goggia is also at the side of the candidacy of Milan Cortina 2026, which in ten days will be assigned to five circles in the duel with Stockholm.
The downhill skier from Bergamo, who has never hidden the desire to pursue her career right up until the Games scheduled in 7 years, in the event of an Italian success in the challenge to Sweden, is experiencing hectic days among the various commitments around the peninsula.
The shuttle between Verona, where Sofia has established the basis of her training, and her Bergamo on weekends and in the few spare time, is constant and is coupled with institutional and sponsor commitments, but also special occasions such as participation in the open water swimming competition in Sestri Levante, last June 1st. After being in Rome for the reception at Palazzo Chigi and the awarding of the gold collars, the PyeongChang gold moved to Milan on Thursday, committed to a service that will appear on the pages of Sportweek.
The right opportunity to launch the Olympic candidacy of our country (in the photo), before putting the skis on their feet just 24 hours after the decision that the IOC will take next June 24 in Lausanne. From Tuesday 25, in fact, Goggia will go up to the Stelvio Pass for a five-day job together with most of the women's national team, recovering as a year ago, in the last week of June, from the glacier base of the blue training sessions.
