Two bronzes for Italy in the first two races of the World Snowboard Championships in Park City, the men's and women's cross-country snowboards played in Solitude.

Emanuel Perathoner and Michela Moioli conquer the lowest step of the podium, for the South Tyrolean, winner last December 22nd in Cervinia, there is a bit 'of bitterness in the mouth because he dominated the qualifications to the finals but in the end he had to give up to the statutitian Mick Dierdorff, gold, and to the Austrian Hanno Douschan. The Olympic champion in charge of the specialty wins the bronze for the third consecutive world championship, the gold goes to the Czech Eva Samkova, the silver to the French of Great Britain Charlotte Bankes. Fourth and sixth the other two blue Francesca Gallina, the best result for her at the world debut, and Raffaella Brutto.
