Despite finishing fourth in the final of the Veysonnaz World Cup men's cross-country couple, Emanuel Perathoner and Omar Visintin take home the specialty cup.

The final of the blues was conditioned by the fall of Perathoner, impossible to reassemble for Visintin. Race won by the Germans Paul Berg and Konstantin Schad on the Spanish Regino Hernandez and Lucas Eguibar and on the Austrians Alessandro Hämmerle.
Good result for Italy also in the corresponding women's race: Sofia Belingheri and Raffaella Brutto were placed second behind the French Nelly Moenne-Loccoz and Chloé Trespeuch, third by the Canadians Zoe Bergermann and Tess Critchlow, four other two French, Manon Petit Lemoir and the very young Olympic silver from PyeongChang Julia Pereira.
