An unexpected result in the women's race and another fourth place in the men's second parallel giant World Cup in PyeongChang.

Sorprissima in the women's race in which Ester Ledecka is wrong and is beaten in the semifinals against the Austrian Sabine Schoeffmann and then has to settle for third place by beating in the final consolation the German Cheyenne Loch. The success, the third of his career in the World Cup, goes to the other German Ramona Theresia Hofmeister who in the final has the best on Schoeffmann. The Austrian leads the overall standings of the parallel World Cup in front of Ledecka, the Czech is instead always leading the list of specialties in front of the blue Nadia Ochner, today eliminated in the second round and ranked eleventh. The other blue Giulia Gaspari, twentieth, was out in qualifying.
The men's competition wins the 38-year-old Austrian Andreas Prommegger, at the 17th World Cup, which in the decisive challenge beats the French Sylvain Dufour, the third the South Korean Sangho Lee who in the final for the lowest step of the podium beat the best of the Azzurri, Maurizio Bormolini, who had bowed for a single tenth in the semifinals to Prommegger and who must finally settle for fourth place. Both in the general classification and in the special classification it is Prommegger who commits. The other Azzurri: eighth Mirko Felicetti, beaten in the quarters by Dufour, thirteenth and fifteenth Edwin Coratti and Roland Fischnaller, who had the worst respectively with Bormolini and Lee, eliminated in qualifying Daniele Bagozza and Aaron March, twenty-sixth and thirty-seventh, retired Gabriel Messner.
