The women's race was won by the fresh champion of the world of specialties, the Czech champion Eva Samkova, her eleventh victory in the World Cup and second season, ahead of the French Chloe Trespeuch, the American Lindsey Jacobellis and the other French Nelly Moenne-Loccoz . The blue: Michela Moioli and Francesca Gallina stopped at the semi-finals then, in the final consolation, they arrived respectively first and fourth, then ranking fifth and eighth in the race. Out in the quarterfinals, the first women's round, Raffaella Brutto, classified thirteenth. Jacobellis and Samkova are ex-aequo leading the World Cup of specialties when only the appointment of Veysonnaz of March 16 is missing while Moioli is third but irretrievably detached by 1350 points.
Among the men, the seventh World Cup victory and the first season for the Austrian Alessandro Haemmerle, who lined up the Australian Adam Lambert, the Canadian Kevin Hill and the American Mick Dierdorff. The Azzurri: Emanuel Perathoner, twenty-first, and Fabio Cordi, thirtieth, came out in the last eighth, ninth Lorenzo Sommariva who was eliminated in the quarterfinals, while Omar Visintin, last in his semi-final, placed second in the final for fifth place classifying overall sixth. The leader of the general classification of the Cup is the German Martin Noerl, today fourteenth, with 190 points ahead of Haemmerle and 295 on Visintin who is third and therefore has all the possibilities in Veysonnaz to take home his second specialty trophy after that of 2014.
