Livigno and snowboarding have a decidedly close relationship and, if Michela Moioli dreams of a stage of the snowboardcross World Cup on the Valtellina snow, just wait a little more than a month to experience an appointment of the maximum circuit at the level of alpine snowboarding.
Yes, because the "little Tibet" has guaranteed the recovery of the parallel slalom canceled (or better interrupted, due to the track "exploded" due to the high temperatures) last December in Carezza: it will compete next March 10 and for the athletes of the national team of Cesare Pisoni will be a great chance to seek success at home, as happened in Cortina with Roland Fischnaller (and with two other podiums arrived in the other Italian appointment with Piancavallo), in the end of an unforgettable season for the blue boards.
From Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 February, the World Cup leader and five other teammates will work in Livigno for a meeting under the orders of technicians Alessio Amorth and Rudy Galli: there will be the owner Maurizio Bormolini and, in addition to Fischnaller, also Aaron March, Edwin Coratti, Daniele Bagozza and Nadya Ochner.
The next World Cup round is set for 13-14 February in Lackenhof, Austria, while during the weekend it will be the turn of team B on the snows of Lenzerheide for four European Cup races featuring Marc Hofer, Sindy Schmalzl , Elisa Caffont, Gabriel Messner, Aline Moroder, Giulia Gaspari, Alice Lombardi and Lucia Dalmasso.
