Second podium of the season and 23rd career in the World Cup for Michela Moioli who placed second in the final of the Feldberg women's snowboard cross.

The 23 year old Olympic champion of the specialty and triple bronze at the World Cup was beaten only by the American champion Lindsey Jacobellis, the second success of the season and the 31st World Cup, which had been the best in yesterday's qualifying. Third is the new world champion of the specialty, the Czech Eva Samkova, the fourth French Chloe Trespeuch. All the other Italians passed the qualifications but then Francesca Gallina, Raffaella Brutto and Sofia Belingheri immediately went out in the quarterfinals, which were the first women's session. The men's race was won by the Australian Cameron Bolton, at his first success in the World Cup, which beat in the final beat the Germans Paul Berg, second, and Konstantin Schad, third, fourth the Japanese Yoshiki Takahara. Even here all the Italians had passed the qualifications but nobody came to the semifinals: Matteo Menconi, Omar Visintin, Lorenzo Sommariva, Michele Godino and Fabio Cordi were eliminated in the second round, Emanuel Perathoner in the quarterfinals.
