The qualifications for the men's and women's cross-country snowboards in Baqueira-Beret, a Spanish resort in the Pyrenean Catalonia, were held today.

Among the men, the best time in the first run was marked by the darling of Lucas Eguibar in front of the Austrian Alessandro Haemmerle and the best of the Azzurri, Lorenzo Sommariva. So our other bearers: fourteenth Omar Visintin, also qualified as Sommariva after a run, twenty-second and twenty-eighth Emanuel Perathoner and Fabio Cordi, qualified after the second. Eliminated the others: forty-third ex-aequo Filippo Ferrari and Michele Godino, forty-sixth Michele Godino. The men's final scoreboard will be 32 athletes.
Instead of 16 athletes the women's scoreboard and the best time did mark the czech and fresh world champion of Eva Samkova specialty but in second place was installed a beautiful Francesca Gallina, third the other star, US, Lindsey Jacobellis. Fourth the Olympic champion Michela Moioli, immediately qualified as Gallina, but she did it after the second run Raffaella Brutto, twelfth, remains outside Sofia Belingheri, nineteenth.
