The City Biathlon which marked the second round of the season for Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi, both on the podium in Wiesbaden, respectively on the third and the first step of the podium, was experienced with too much apprehension for the South Tyrolean champion.

Having left Saturday for the north of Germany, "Doro" found itself without its luggage once it landed in Frankfurt; the winner of the 2018/19 World Cup thus had to compete with a gun lent by a ski club and with shoes of two numbers larger than the ideal size. "The atmosphere is splendid in an event of this type - Wierer told the parterre - It would be really nice to have something of the kind in Italy, we hope that the World Cup in Antholz will be the driving force. So far the preparation has been carried out to the best, I'm fine and having the first comparisons with some colleagues is useful ".
In Wiesbaden, Marte Olsbu Roeiseland did not take the lead, scheduled among the eight protagonists and forced to forfeit just a few hours after the event due to an indisposition. For the Norwegian who already won the Blink, apparently nothing to worry about.
