The biathlon blues continue their work in Ramsau, juniors / youngsters again in Anterselva

The IBU introduces an "anti Covid" novelty: there will be four discards available next season.

The work of the biathlon blues in Ramsau continues, with the World Cup group in full force on the Austrian snow. In the meantime, the IBU decision (to be ratified at the next congress in November) has arrived to increase the discards available in the next season from 2 to 4: a choice clearly linked to the Covid situation and any positivity that could force some athletes to skip one or more stages of the World Cup. Also included is the new blue bib for the best Under 25 in the standings. Instead, the boys of the junior / young men's and women's team return to train in Anterselva for the seventh seasonal meeting. The technical director Fabrizio Curtaz has summoned Daniele Fauner, Iacopo Leonesio, Stefano Canavese, Elia Zeni, Marco Barale, Nicolò Betemps, Beatrice Trabucchi, Martina Trabucchi, Gaia Brunetto, Sara Scattolo, Ilaria Scattolo, David Zingerle, Hannah Auchentaller, Linda Zingerle and Rebecca Passler. Rally started yesterday and scheduled until Thursday 8 October, with technicians Mirco Romanin, Daniele Piller Roner, Fabio Cianciana, Edoardo Mezzaro, Aline Noro, Samantha Plafoni and Pietro Dutto working together with the boys.
