The summer appointment with some of the great protagonists of the winter season is back: in Germany there will be the two Azzurri for their respective individual competitions.

On the day of August 15th, the great party of the City Biathlon of Wiesbaden returns, in the heart of Bavaria.
In fact, the classic summer double race is scheduled for Sunday, which anticipates another highly anticipated event such as the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival. There will also be Lukas Hofer and Dorothea Wierer at the start, for the German exhibition with the mass starts starting from 15.00.
It is also the first competitive match for the two Azzurri, in the heart of an already very intense preparation thinking about winter; Hofer will compete with the brothers Tarjei and Johannes Thingnes Boe, with the German Erik Lesser and five other top athletes such as Jakov Fak, Felix Leitner, Dmytro Pidruchnyi, the other German Roman Rees and the Russian Khalili.
Nine also entered the women's competition: in addition to Wierer, there will be Janina Hettich and Vanessa Voigt among the hosts, the Czech Marketa Davidova, the Ukrainian Yuliia Dzhima, the Swiss Lena Haecki, the French Julia Simon, the Polish Monika Hojnisz-Starega and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold of Norway.
