The grand final of the 2020/21 Biathlon World Cup will open at 12:30 with the women's Sprint. At 3.30 pm space for men, while between Saturday and Sunday the Pursuits and the line starts are scheduled, which as per traction will conclude the season.

Italy presents itself in Sweden in reduced ranks: in fact, Dorothea Wierer (6), Lisa Vittozzi (14) and Michela Carrara (69) will be at the start. The first two start with podium ambitions, while the Aosta Valley has the goal of getting into the points. Compared to the two stages of Nove Mesto, the absence of Federica Sanfilippo and Irene Lardschneider stands out, as they were not replaced, as had been hypothesized, by young people who came out in great shape from the youth world championships and from the last stage of the Ibu Cup.

Once again the favorite is Tiril Eckhoff, fresh winner of the crystal ball, who is hunting for the seventh consecutive success in the format. On paper, the opponents seem to start two steps below the Norwegian, who in December 2014 won her first World Cup success in Oestersund. In the second part of the race, however, eyes on Stina Nilsson who, after the transition from the bottom to the biathlon and a season spent competing in the Swedish national circuit and Ibu Cup, will make her debut in the maximum circuit.
